The U.S.and its allies have criticized WikiLeaks. Some world leaders have questioned the arrest of Julian Assange. Is this a violation of freedom of expression? He's not even the one who uncovered the documents in the first place. This is going to spark a lot of debate on the topic of "freedom." I think freedom is what the world needs to bring us all together and understand each other. This world grows more open every day, and there is so much power in that openness, that it scares bureaucracies. Individuals are becoming powerful enough to intimidate nations.
Level the playing field. We are just starting a new ball game. Right now, it is every man for himself. Opening the world to increased interaction and information sharing will facilitate powerful collaboration amongst the players, and anyone is free to join the game.
